    so predictable

ever fan base does this, ever, in Katie’s career. There’s always something the Coach can do to fix KD, or fix his chemistry turbulence …

not even Kerr could do that … and now at 37, we’re still talking about how to fix Katie’s mercenary wake of chaos

    sigh

I mean, I can show you video after video of KD refusing to run split action with Curry. getting in Curry’s way. But they were so stacked, it didn’t matter.

Trading for KD was a mistake any way you slice it and then when you realize we did it and lost the nets pick this year in a once again fantastic draft, you realize it was a colossal mistake. I am as big a UT homer as you will meet and I love KD but DD is correct, he is a team cancer and has been since he wanted out of OKC.

We aren’t even a fun team to watch, Sengun is broken, Thompson can’t shoot and you have to wonder if he ever will be able to at this point , Tari can’t stay healthy and Jabari is always going to be Jabari. Only bright spot on the season is Shepperd looking like a keeper. Just a disastrous offseason and to make matters worse the Spurs look like they have surpassed us in one offseason.

Hindsight is always 20/20. It was a swing for the fences type of move. I don't think we would have done better sticking with Green and Brooks. The Rockets thought they could have still competed for a championship and they did well for the first 20 games or so of the season, but it became apparent as the season wore on that this team just doesn't have enough to go far in the postseason, if they even make it at this point.

It was but how disappointing that we didn't have a coach that would fix this crap......Ime leans in to KD....instead of putting him in his place....hell Imagine KD as our 6th man off the bench?

Much better for the team overall.

If we get out of the 1st Round
Will you consider this season an improvement?
What would it take for you to think the KD experiment was worth it?

If Ime would use him differently, as a finisher, not creator - a guy that is at the end of the play, not the beginning and KD started playing team ball, moving off of it, covering for teammates on defense.

I think it is too tall an order, I am not upset that Green is gone, nor Brooks - but KD's attitude is undermining what Ime built his first year.

I don't believe it is salvageable at this point. Ime is clueless how to make it work.

Another stupid thread but the Casual who thinks KPJ and Cam Whitemore are stars.....

KD was never brought in to be the leader or the playmaker,... he was brought in to make shots. The issues go beyond KD at this point.

LMAO? Based on what? The ramblings of a man who said Reed was a generational shooter?

Do you have any idea of how many different causes you have come up with to justify your disappointment with the team?

We traded the BKN pick in 2024..... We didn't know if we'd be getting KD or not then. That trade was to spread the risk around and acquire additional picks.

You cant just assume BKN would have tanked the same way without their picks...

    You casual ....

KD had nothing to do with "losing the Brooklyn picks".

It’s insane how many possessions he breaks by refusing to get the ball or run an action - and 80% of the time people watching the games will think a guy took some stupid shot or made a dumb play. No, he leaves them in tough spots and probably knows he can rely on his isos and shot making to bank his own numbers and then setup guys to make them look however he wants them to look on the court.

I think the issue with KD is he’s like Harden. If he doesn’t have the ball, he’s very stand stillish on offense. He doesn’t cut, his screens are very light, and when we do try to give him and entry pass he doesn’t seal off his guy well at all, leading to a lot of turnovers.

KD’s scoring has been amazing, and fun to watch. We just can’t get into a habit of running a 1-4 flat each time when we lob it to him. Let him come off screens for a shot, back cut when teams over play him for the entry pass. But that requires us to actually run an offense. Too much of our offense is just iso ball and hope someone doubles and gets open at the 3 point line.

Lol the person who has the reputation of the “DD curse”….. says Durant can’t make shots…..

Like seriously…. You have blamed everything for the Rockets season. It’s just pathetic… beyond the level of falling for KPJ and Cam (just to name the recents)

The Casuals blame KD for the BKN trade and the Casuals believed Cam Whitemore wasn’t given a fair chance.
