    This is just my second post in clutchcity.....but i have been reading all of the recent post and no one has even been mentioning Eltond Brand. I think he would be the missing piece that this team needs. He would bring that toughness that this team needs. And all the scoring that he can bring.But my only question that i have is ......there anyway we have a shot at aquiring him from the clippers and at what price it might cost us.

    Yeah, you haven't been here long. Before Tomjanovich stepped down every other thread was about Elton Brand..... Basically, most everybody here agrees with you that he would fit in with this team perfectly, but most people don't feel we can realistically get him as he'll command max or near max salary and a team just can't have three max salary players. In just two or three years they're going to have to give Yao max money too.

    Where not getting Brand, but he would be perfect if he was a Rocket. Even if we did lose Mobley and Griffin in a trade.
