Judge with a sense of humor.

Ford Motor Company wants to sell used cars over the Internet, so they started www.fordpreowned.com. Supposedly there is a law in the state of Texas that states automakers can't sell directly to customers. Ford said this law shouldn't apply to the Internet. Judge Sam Sparks said no, the law still applies. Just because it's the Internet doesn't mean that it's legal to do something via the Internet that was prohibited via other mediums. Here are some quotes from Judge Sparks :

"Thus, the plaintiff (Ford) is prohibited from selling motor vehicles to consumers by mail, phone calls, leafleting, skywriting or drum signals..."

"... as well as on a plane, on a train, in a house, or with a mouse."

I'm guessing the judge got his point across and that he didn't want to leave too many loopholes open.
