Jeff Van Gundy = Better coach than Rudy T in the present day. Of course, in the old days (mid 90s), Rudy T was clearly better.

So the Rockets lost to the Memphis Griz, but please don't blame on Van Gundy. His system works just fine for the Rockets. In game 1 limited the Nuggets to 85 points, and in game 2 limited the Grizzlies to 79 points. The Rockets defense was good with Yao & Cato inside combined for 9 blocks. The problem, though, is that, no matter how good your defense is, you still need to be able to score. Yao is the same Yao, an offensive machine and can shoot high percentage. He needs to be granted for a certain number of shots per game. The rest of his teammates really need to shoot the ball better, really, coz in the Grizz game, the shots were obsolutely sucky. There shouldn't be any excuse for that kind of shooting, especially Yao had helped attracted a big portion of the Grizz' defense. You don't wanna be like the Miami Heats who can't score.
