With the Spurs ready to waive him, and assuming we do not acquire Payton, wouldn`t Brewer be a PG upgrade from both Barrett and Norris. I do not know alot about him, but from what I`ve learned he is a tough-mined Van Gundy type defender that is not afraid to mix it up in going for rebounds, will take charges and is a strong penetrator and finisher

He has long hair..he looks strong to me. I don't think eh can shoot..but he looks tough. I don't see an eed for him though with Sura, James, Ward, Barrett, and Norris. Maybe we'll sign him though.

yes - we can add him and get Payton off waivers

you never know when you will need to go with a 4 point guard lineup
