I have not seen the guy play in a while. I think he shoots about 45 % from the field and 32% from 3 point land with same ppg and assists roughly than Rafer. Anyone think he could be pryed away from Orlando in a deal or is he not even worth it?

I think he's currently still too inconsistent to be a real upgrade. (for ex, Arroyo took over most of his minutes for a long time earlier this season) I do think he'll be solid in the future.. but not the right fit for this team right now. And Orlando, for his future prospects, probably wouldn't let him go without getting a young player back.

    The Spanish speaking one?

    The PuertoRican? :D

He's not a championship PG. He's too flashy and inconsistent. Undersized. Doesn't like to play defense.

I would much rather have Diener than Arroyo. Talk about a 3 point shooting PG. The best in the league. He would be a perfect back up for Rafer when Rafer struggles with his 3 point shooting

could be a good trade depending on what we let go......but it aint happenin they are trying to build a young team to contend with for years to come.

So you're basically saying that you want two 5'10" PG on the team who is always a liability on defense.

A Point Guard is a Playmaker rather than a shooter and that's what the Rockets are desperate for. At the present time the only Rockets playmaker is Tracy McGrady. Alston is only just about good enough as a back up player, no matter what JVG says about him!!!
