    ... since my father passed away. RIP, Dad.

    Make sure that your parents know how much you love and appreciate them. My dad did but I deeply miss the opportunity to refresh the idea for him.

    Don't take this time for granted.

    Thanks for sharing giddyup. I came to grips with my own Dad's mortality a few summers ago when my siblings and I all thought he was sick. Luckily, it turned out our speculation was incorrect, but ever since that time, I've never taken him, my mother, or anyone else close to me for granted.
