Every so often my searches or webpages are getting redirected.
I have scanned my computer several times but it still happens from time to time
    every 5~10 times.

    I have reset my IE/Firefox/Etc
    Still happens.

    Wondering what I maybe missing

Try one of the hardcore malware removal programs, like combofix. There are one or two others, but the names escape me at the moment.

You have a rootkit in your registry.
I had the same thing a long ass time ago.

I may not know how to solve your specific problem, but at least you know what you've got in your system now.

    What OS do you have?

Start your browsers in SAFE MODE (not the OS, only the FireFox or IE programs), and try to enable add-on by add-on to see if, for any reason, any of the add-ons you have now are causing this.

After this, write down the symptoms. Can you record your session? Use PSR in Windows 7 (Problem Steps Recorder, found in the start menu) to record your steps. Post the steps' text here.
    Objection, your honor: SPECULATION. :p

its a virus. I got it from clutchfans forums (we think) on a couple of different occasions back when I ran a PC at work.

Basically, go to a GOOD PC, download MalwareBytes' Anti-malware, install it on your USB flash drive, run it from there on the bad PC. Restart. Run it again. Remove anything it finds. Update. Run it again. Remove anything it finds. Restart. Check if the same symptoms persist.
