These free interfaces that you can download for a web page... Do you have to use photoshop or can you use any software like photodeluxe to make text changes and ultimately get these things to work. I'm just curious. They look cool and I'd like to use them, but I don't have photoshop, and I don't quite know what to expect when I download them. Thanks for any info.
Here would be a couple of links that I've found. http://www.solardreamstudios.com/art/interfaces/ http://andygraphics.com/interfaces/ http://www.webpagedesign.com.au/iface.html http://www.mediabuilder.com/ds_interfaces_a_l_boxes_page_aa.html I'm not real good at HTML, but I'm smart enough to figure it out with a little guidance from the web site and you guys.
Yeah, essentially you'd need to use Photoshop or the like, unless you use direct positioning which can be pretty confusing.
Iron is correct. These are PhotoShop or other - specific files. They are not simply .jpg or .gif. You MIGHT be able to convert them with some other file, but probably not.
You can convert them with ACDSee.. Excellent program for viewing and working with image files. You can get it here.... http://www.acdsystems.com/English/index.htm
Here is a link for version 3.1 http://download.com.com/3000-2192-4204237.html?legacy=cnet This is a trial version but at the end of the trial you can go on what they call "sponsored mode" and basically all this is,is that you connect to a server once a month and download new ads. These run at the bottom while you use the software and you don't even really notice it..I've been using it about a year and it is awesome...The reason I gave the link for the 3.1 download is because I'm not sure if 4.0 has this ? If someone knows let me know.
oh....ok..... that is semi sad news, but I'll see what I can do. Daro has given me some leads. Where there is a will there is a way
