Does anyone have any insight on contract negotations for McGrady? When do the Rockets plan on extending a new offer to Yao? What's the max for both of these players? What type of flexibilty will we have if we sign both of these players to the max? What is T-Mac's status at the end of this year, unrestricted or restricted? Insight please..........................................
CD has been out of town and they cannot complete a deal with McGrady before he returns. It will get done before training camp. As for Yao, he can be extended after the 2005-06 season. The Rockets have the right to extend him for one year or sign him to a long-term extension at that time assuming he wants to sign the extension.
