In a few years YAO's contract will be up. Where will you be putting the rest of your money.

YAO will get the max. PERIOD I doubt he gets a dollar less than that from us.

I have seens us b*tch and CD
    but honestly. . . .

Where would you put the money

How much at each position? What kind of player could you get for that?

PG - 3 mil - What pg making 3 mil a year [not on rookie scale] could we have?

    Salary cap is what . . .45 ~ 55

    So Yao gets 12~15 mill
LEaves us with quite a bit for bench/ other players

Aelliot said 6 mill is too much for a role player. . .. how much
    is about right?

    Rocket River
just want to see what folx expectations are about

since we are the new knicks, i don't see anything wrong with giving cuttino the max, i think he's worked hard to get where he deserves and that justifies star treatment and salary. yao will just have to be the fish that got away...

Our 2nd max player should be at one of the forward spots, an Elton Brand or Shawn Marion type (but how many such players are available?) At PG, we don't need spectacular.

Don't know if I even addressed the question. But what else is new?

A role player should get what Posey got, the MLE. A GOOD role player, that is.

Depending on the "role." Darvin Ham, for example. He should get per diem, and that's it.
