If Yao starts in the All-Star Game, does he also play in the All-Star Rookie game or does he get to skip it?

*sigh* i've seen this question answered ad nauseum.

if yao makes the allstar team, which really isn't an "if", then he cannot play in the rookie game.

I have a better question. If Yao DOESN'T make the All Star team next year as a starter, do you think he will be voted in? If not, do you think it's fair for the rookies if he plays for the sophomores? Did Duncan play with the sophomores?

you're damned right it's fair! what are we, handicapping basketball games now?

as for duncan, he did not play for the sophomores for the same reason yao ming will not play for the rookies this year.
