    Would Yao get a ring? Don't you have to be on the active roster to receive a ring?

    Everyone who had anything to do with any part of this season would get a ring. I bet Bonzi would too.

    The same way all star money does. The winners get $500 and the losers get $200. At least, that was the way it was 30 years ago. (Note I was not alive during that era)

    I think the only players who gets rings are whoever is on the final roster by the time the season ends.

    Vernon Maxwell got a ring after he quit on the team. so yeah, Yao will get his ring props for his invaluable contributions.

    Correct me if I am wrong. I believe I heard somewhere long time ago that the rings are given out by the franchise not the league.
