What exactly is a 'gucci mane' beat? Is that like a bossa nova?

Is a Gucci beat when you pound on some form of Gucci clothing or accessory and then record it? That doesn't sound the least bit interesting. It's almost as stupid as giving yourself a stage name that's a ripoff of something or somebody else like that joke in Tropic Thunder, how the guy is named Alpa Chino. Now if you spell it exactly the same, say as in naming yourself Gucci, that's actually just sad. Hopefully nobody ever does anything that stupid . . .

RickRock713, do I need an account to get to your content? Make it public, brother! What's your user name on there or how do we get to the player without signing in?

A "gucci mane" I believe is the hair style currently donned by both Robin Lopez of the Phoenix Suns and Anderson Varejao of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

And This is the master beeter...

    constructive criticism:

Some southern rap beats are intentionally simple. The drums (especially the drum breaks) need to be more complex though, more like old mannie and less like nitty. For some inspiration, try listening to jungle music or drum n' bass. I didn't see anything other than atl trap style beats though, if you haven't already you should try making stuff you're not used to making or even listening to because it'll improve your sound.

It's actually pretty good though, you're better than some of the rap producers already getting big money.

There is nothing tighter than instrumental gansta beats.
