Well, once again, ABC has screwed me over.

As I'm sitting here, watching Miami play one of their best games of the season against a team that has won 8 straight, here comes damn John Saunders to inform the audience that ABC, in their infinite wisdom, has decided to take the viewers to a more "competitive" game aka Michigan and Wisconsin! Who cares about this game?? It's the Big 10 and both teams are not much especially Wisconsin. Hell, if they are going to do s!it like this, why not show OU-Texas Tech??

This is the 2nd time that they have done this. I can't ever remember this happening before in the past. I'm beginning to wonder if they do this just because it's Miami. If Nebraska or Florida or somebody like that was on and was beating the fu*k out of somebody, do you think that they would switch games??

they did this the last time the Canes played on ABC.

Houston didn't even get the game, there was some other game on!

The hurricanes official website has an audio link that I use!

You guys should get ESPN Gameplan.

It's not a guarantee that all Miami games will be carried, but if the game is on ABC regional or in syndication, its probably going to be on.

The Miami-Syracuse game was a joke. Why bother watching Syracuse' non-existant offense try to score one more time?

I'm so proud of calling that game. I told everyone it would be a rout!

Because it's fun...BTW thanks for the link rH, I'll plan on using it when the Canes aren't on TV.

As much as you dislike Dorsey and Miami, you have to admit that he played well against a defense that wasn't chopped liver.

He still won't win the Heisman, though. I think that Rex Grossman will win it, but the last 2 times Miami players have won the Heisman, the Canes lost their bowl game and the National Championship. Therefore I hope Dorsey doesn't win the Heisman.

I think most people in your viewing area would prefer the competitive game over the blowout...

This is also to answer moe's post.

You have a point, but as much hype as ABC and about everybody else likes to give the BCS, you would think that when the #2 team in the BCS is playing, they would show the entire game. I guarantee they would if it was Nebraska.

Also, what constitutes a blow-out in their minds? When Miami was playing Penn State, they switched games at 33-0. The final score wound up being 33-7. That is a solid win but not a massacre. Okay so Miami won today 59-0 and Michigan and Wisconsin had an exciting finish although I didn't watch it.

ESPN, CBS, ESPN2, and Fox Sports Net doesn't do this. Why does ABC do it? I know because they have regional games. Well that is why there are packages like ESPN+ and others. If the game you want to see is not shown as the regional broadcast, then go get the extra packages. If I subscribed to one of these and saw that ABC was showing a game, essentially free, to people who didn't buy the package that I bought then I would be pissed.
