Well, he basically summed up the Rockets season into a couple sentences.

    I hate answers like that.

"Well, I don't know. Their defense can hold their opponents down, and if they could find a way to score more points than the other team, they should win every time."

    Interpretation......

If Francis would stop being a ball hog and pass Yao the ball instead of ignoring him the Rockets would win more...:D

Play zone defense with an emphasis on shutting down the paint. If the referees allow it, make sure Yao gets plenty of rough contact in the paint, and always have a doubling defender nearby from other the point guard or power forward position. With the defenses concentrated in the paint area, make the outside shooters of the Rockets shoot open jumpshots. Do not allow layups. Use pick and roll against the Rockets.

I'm not a big fan of Dr. Jack, but from what he said, he WATCHED the Rockets defeated LA & Wolves, but didn't watch the Seattle game. So , that's where the "puzzle" came from.

Dr Jack has a terminal case of "won't criticize a player or coach."

He wrote recently that JVG needs to adjust to Steve more than vice versa. It was at this point that I tuned out the good Dr.

    :D

Chat Questions with former players/coaches are a waste of time.

Of couse, they don't want to "really" tell you what's wrong with your team.;)
