How many states can you name in 10 minutes?

all 50 with 8:05 left

i learned a song in elementary school...all the states in alphabetical order. somehow, that brain cell is still with me.

 

I did it with 2:47 remaining. The two I had trouble remembering were Wisconsin and Utah.

I did it with 19 sec left. Had trouble with Arkansas, Delaware, and Connecticut.

I got 48 out of 50. Forgot Montana and Wisconsin.

Had to sing that in a first grade program thingy. How the hell I remember it, I have no idea. Now I'll have it stuck in my head for the afternoon. Not cool.

 

I got 47 out of 50, but I missed some of the small northeastern states because of my mouse here at work.

Sad that the only reason I know which states are which....is because of the college football conferences.

 

I learned a song to memorize all the planets in order from sun to Pluto (back when Pluto was a planet).

I learned a song to memorize all the books of the bible (Old and New Tesatment in order)

But I never learned a song to memorize the states.

I don't feel bad about it. The fact that I forgot Wisconsin and Montana doesn't mean anything. It's just a memory thing. Honestly, since I have no system for memorizing the states, I'm pretty pleased that I was able to name 48 of the 50.

 

I forgot Nevada. I suck.

 

All 50 with 1:45 left. Had trouble remembering Louisiana (I just quit working there, call it a Freudian slip) and Nevada.

 

yep..never forgot it. i've sung it so many times in my head since that i can sing the states super-fast. it's a rare skill. like juggling.

I still remember bits & pieces of that one.

i used the same song as madmax...but still managed to miss UTAH. ugh...49/50, I can't believe I forgot Utah.
