We'll use the Rockets as an example here.

If it guaranteed that they won a championship this year, would you...

give up $5?

give up $500? $5000?

give yourself a paper cut? give yourself a gash that requires stitches? lose a finger?

break up with your current significant other? marry someone you hate?

I'm just curious. I'm 100% positive that there are some things at least on the low end of the spectrum here that I'd do to ensure a Rockets or Astros championship, and when I think about it, that's kind of sick. Even if it's only a paper cut.
