What about Alonzo Mourning for backup C if makes a comeback? He's definitely more mobile than Deke... it just depends on how healthy he is:

Despite the uneasy circumstances, Team USA took care of business yesterday against Turkey, 80-68, beating Mehmet Okur. & Co. for the second time in the last few days. Our guys took a lot of heat from the fans (especially after two of their players got injured) and they were playing with the knowledge that earlier in the day two bombs exploded in hotels a short distance away form their hotel. One very big reason that we won with relative ease? Tim Duncan. Dude went 12-14 from the field for 25 points and 11 boards. There’s no question that if we didn’t have him, Team USA would have major problems, even with A.I., Dwyane, Steph and the rest of the roster … Speaking of A.I., did you see his post game interview with Bill Walton? The fact that A.I. sat there for a good five minutes answering questions wasn’t what struck us, it was the lack of security. Two bombs had exploded that morning in tourist areas and the crowd at the game was apparently hostile as all hell, yet fans were almost on top of Allen with only one “security” guard visible on more than one camera shot. The only thing between Allen and the fans was what looked like a knee-high rope. When asked about security at the Olympics next week, Allen said that God has his back … Walton guaranteed that the U.S, would bring back the gold … The New York/New Jersey papers were talking about how Alonzo Mourning is still talking comeback for this upcoming season; he’s just waiting for clearance from doctors. He’s been through a lot, so we wish him the best, but he’s saying he’d only play for a contender. Meanwhile, he still has a contract with the Nets that he signed last season worth a guaranteed $5.5 million … In more Nets news, the Newark Star-Ledger reported yesterday that ownership will offer Rod Thorn 3-year deal worth $15 million to stay on as CEO and run the Nets’ operations. So, they’ll pay Thorn, but not Kenyon, Kittles and probably not Kidd? … We gotta thank our friends at EA Sports for their hospitality yesterday afternoon. They had a showcase for all of their new sports titles, most notably Madden 2005, NBA Live 2005 and NCAA March Madness 2005. Hot as hell. We literally had to be pried away from March Madness. And the free drinks and cheese blocks … We’re out like a tray of cheese.

he's a definite upgrade on deke.. but i think in my opinion, he's more of a risk compared to deke, and deke is crumbling down because of age.. id rather go with deke that i know i will just fear losing him due to injury rather than go to zo and might go out again because of his health.. i think deke is a more sure bet for the back up center job compared to zo...

Not sure Zo would be that much of an upgrade over Deke;

Zo's stats last season: 8ppg, 2.3rpg, 0.5bpg in 12 appearances

Dikembe's stats: 5.6ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.9bpg in 65 games

Unfortunately, I think Zo's done.
