    This is a long comprehensive article on Houston flooding. If nothing else the information may affect your future real estate choices. As a former Land Planner who delt with these issues in the real world the appraoch to the writing is pretty impressive with the exception of the phrase "scientist say" I think those need more citation.

    Good article. Writers though seem to think the solution has to be greater controls on development. Maybe that's right, but it's a real tough sell in Houston. That really cuts to our identity as a city.
