Lets say I was going to start a non-profit that would do things for the Houston area what do you think needs to be done?

I was thinking about daily making deliveries to the most poverty filled schools in Houston a healthy school lunch (per need) instead of kids relying on the free lunch thing.

Or a service to drive old people to and from doctors visits or something similar.

Or maybe make grocery deliveries to some very poor homes.

Again, what things do you believe can and should be done in the Houston area that are neglected or do not have enough assistance as it is?

Med Center area. I mean yes I do want to find groups that do this already BUT I would like to start a business that will fund a charitable organization or start one of my own!

I think you should build a library for kids who can't read good.

Charter school; or low-income after school arts and/or tutoring program. Job-placement/training for ex-cons and/or single moms, ESL classes for undocumenteds.

Something to do with the Homeless would be ideal in my book. Most areas of downtown are filled with homeless people and this time of the year with cooler temp and rain coming more often its going to be rough for those people.
