Exactly. He has been promising the sequel to his book for almost as long as some players on this team have been alive

dude is a hack and writes solely for $$

 

He only started writing GOT for money once he couldn't land any more jobs with TV, and once HBO came calling he lost all motivation to finish. His blog is an embarrassing display of all the things he did other than finishing the series over the years. The hack won't even let book GOT be finished by someone else when he dies like Robert Jordan did with Brandon Sanderson.
