Although Hakeem Olajuwon will wrap up his illustrious career in Toronto, his accomplishments in the city of Houston will not be soon forgotten. Since being selected No. 1 overall by the Rockets in the 1984 NBA Draft, Olajuwon went on to re-write the Rockets record books while establishing himself as one of the greatest centers the NBA has ever known.

In order to honor this Houston icon and his many accomplishments, Rockets.com is taking a look back at Olajuwon's career with our special Hakeem A-Z retrospective, which includes interesting tidbits about Hakeem's 17 years with the Rockets along with several historical photos.
