The hack-a-(fill in the blank) is bull. The Rockets should isolate the worst free-throw shooter on the other team and return the favor. See how Stern enjoys watching a game of 21 for the last 5 minutes.
Possible resolution...bring back the 3 to make 2 on deliberate fouls when in the penalty...or assess a technical for deliberately fouling a non-ball handler after a warning. BTW - if you bear hug Howard it's a foul but when Lin gets grabbed by Nash at the end..it isn't???

Also, why do the TV crews zoom in on a scorer and leave the camera on him while a play is being executed. Saw this a ton last year and at least once last night when all you saw was Dwight (I think) scoring after what was apparently a nice outlet pass from an unidentified Rocket.

Hackashaq fouls in europe would be called unsportsmanship fouls and woul be rewarded with 2 free throws and a ball. In NBA it should be falgarant 1, because hacking someone without a ball is unnecessary contact.
