Has anyone read the book "Great Expectations"?. I need some help understanding what it means..... I've read the 1st 20 chapters or so, but can anyone help me out?
Yes, I have read it... and yes, it is possibly the most boring book ever written. All I remember was that the main character's name was Pip... I guess I've never really understood Dickens. Dude could write three pages describing the doorknob in a room...
get the Cliff Notes or watch the loosely based modern movie version with Gwyneth Paltrow and Ethan Hawke. My wife watched the movie version and then read the book and enjoyed them both!
