Morey got lucky and acquired Harden in an all-time lucky trade. Morey then proceeded to sign multiple terrible contracts to waste Harden's prime. Last year couple years it was Ryno, this year and for the next 3 years it'll be CP3 and to a lesser degree, Capela. We're just basically banging our heads against the wall year after year while teams are passing us (Bucks, 76ers, Raps, Nuggets close) and Warriors still getting better by the year. Even when the moon and sun align for us (KD+Boogie injured), this team still can't pull out the W.
Morey is not the one who's playing Clint and Gerald Green down the stretch or throwing the ball away on an inbound pass, even if you don't like him and/or how he worked here, you should be at least able to reconize we have not lost this series because of a general manager.
