Are there any other gas companies that provide service for your house? I have Centerpoint Energy and I feel like I am getting screwed....Natural gas prices are at a all time low and my bill is $145 for the past few months compared to $33 in the summer....and I dont even turn on the heat that much.....Advice please....

CenterPoint here as well, and I thought I was getting screwed paying close to $80 last month :(

They pretty much charge 20 bucks just to keep the service alive for your residence. I wasn't aware of any alternatives to CP for gas here in Houston, but one deterrent of switching would be that they charge something like 60 bucks just to "initialize" your gas service.

you might want to check for a gas leak. and if you do find one, call a plumber, NOT centerpoint.
