[Game]Dishonored

Haven't followed it too closely (intentionally), but everything I have seen has been pretty positive. Will probably pick up at some point.

That's a very good question.

Dishonored hadn't been much on my radar... I watched a video preview a few months ago, but that was about it. Now reviews are making me think I should pick it up eventually.

X-Com, on the other hand, has definitely been on my radar, but I was waiting until release to see if they screwed it up or not. Apparently they didn't.

I think I'll wait for Black Friday and see if I can pick both of them up for cheap then...

Looks good. If it was 3rd person, I'd be all over it. I hate 1st person in everything.

 

My brother bought it. It looks a lot like Skyrim. I'll have to "borrow" it from him.

 

So what's the word? I just got X-Com based off reviews and enjoying it so far. This one is getting fantastic reviews too.

 

Great game. Beat it today. Story leaves a little bit to be desired but that doesn't really matter, its a ton of fun to play. I love how there's so many ways to do what you need to do.

one complaint I have though- You can't replay earlier levels with your powers from the end of the game. It needs kind of a new game plus thing or something. It'd be a lot of fun to tackle the early missions with the upgrades from later in the game.

 

So it's pretty linear? Not that that's bad, just wondering.
Someone said it's like Bioshock?
