I've had issues with some of Rosen's takes in the past (mainly the way he harbored a grudge against JVG). But, frankly, his analysis is generally very interesting to read for me. On Oct 2nd, here he shared his thoughts on Andrew Bynum, the Princeton offense, Pete Maravich, West vs Frazier, and more. http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/10147764/Answering-your-NBA-questions:-Bynum's-failings?
Rosen is actually a pretty good analyst. Folks here generally despise him because he was openly critical of Gundy's offense.
That was a decent column and Rosen is very good sometimes. The reason so many people strongly dislike him (myself included) is because he goes way overboard being inflammatory on a regular basis. I had no problem with him criticizing JVG's offense because I was very critical myself. I've seen Rosen get blasted on many non-Rockets fan forums because he likes to stir people up because it makes him (Rosen) the subject of discussion and keeps him relevant. If Rosen kept his personal animosities to himself, he would be excellent. I stopped reading him years ago.
