Font help

    I don't know what the deal is but any words containing:

    n ' t as in don't , won't, can't, etc...appear with a box instead of the n ' t.

    What's the deal?


    Actually, it's any word with an apostrophe in it it seems.

    sounds like it's being truncated for some reason.

    what font are you using? what program are you using it in? can you zoom in and see the apostrophe? does it print this way?

    It happens a lot in this forum. But not all the time now that I look at it closer. There's a thread in the GARM section where it happened a lot in one post.

    hmmm... so it happens in the web browser?

    what browser are you using? what font is your browser set to use?

    Web page font: Times New Roman

    Plain text font: Courier New

    Language script: Latin based

    I have no idea if those have been touched. I friend of my wifes used my computer briefly to check her email and I noticed the font size had changed...now this. I have no idea what she touched.

    hmmm..... what do you have set when you go to
    • VIEW
    • Encoding
    -- what do you have selected there?

    I have European Western (Windows) selected

    AHA !!

    Thank you...mine was set on Chinese. My wifes friend is orginally from China. She used my computer to check her email...now it all makes sense.
