So, what's going on? I'm in Austin right now, but I hear it's pretty bad close to my neck of the woods (Woodhead/W. Gray). Anyone having any problems? Be safe out there.
Yeah it's pretty bad. Not at the point of people disappearing and stuff. But it is a total mess everywhere and people are stuck. I got to leave work early, and at some points I didn't think I was gonna make it. It wasn't even raining this morning, I left at 3:30 and it was hell.
Its REALLY bad here. I am at work right now on Kirby and 59 and it is a river here. The feeder of 59 is crazy flooded, same goes for Kirby, and Richmond is just bad, really bad. Hell my co-worker next to me had to leave his car on the feeder of 59 south at the Sheppard exit and walked all they way here. Crazy stuff. Thank god I do not leave here till 10pm, so hopefully it will balanced out by then.
Man Dallas had a string of storms slowly go through here that scared me to death. I didn't want my new car getting hailed on! But then I decided to look at what was going on in Houston and I was almost happy to be in this mess in Dallas. Good Lord, the radar view for Houston looked like a disaster. Hope you guys stay inside and safe!
Reminds me of Isabel up here in VA...It was a bad bad week... Heh but we got almost 2.5 weeks off school so im not complainin.
