Austinites, the next time you get in your car, tune to 1370AM...you don't have to put up with the likes of Craig Way, Chad Hastings, or other annoying Austinites who think it's funny to call in to a sports show and say something like this: "Did you say Knob Hill or Nob Gobblers...hahahahaha" click. Finally, national talk radio is back!!
RM95, is it an all sports radio station? I heard it carries Sporting News Radio on weekends and late at nights so Austinites will have to put up with Brian Jones etc... Did you like Hugh Lewis? The few times I listened to 1300, Lewis sounded like the least biased guy towards UT. A lot of people hated him though.
I think so Smokey. I'm pretty sure I woke up to it this morning. I couldn't stand Hugh Lewis. As amazing as it sounds, he was the least intelligent out of all of them. I don't know, maybe it's just me, when I listen to sports radio, I expect them to have at least a little knowledge about general sports. I'm always amazed at the little things they don't seem to know. Brian Jones gets on my nerves, but he's a really good sideline reporter I think. I actually took a radio to a game and listened a little (just wanting to hear the OU/A&M score when Mack Brown idiotically wouldn't let the stadium show the score), and I was surprised. Craig Way is the only one with any knowledge, and I'll admit, he knows his sports. However, I can't get over the fact that he's a UT sucking jackass. You call in and criticize anything UT does, and he calls you ignorant and a jackass. My favorite as been lately when people have been calling in a correctly calling UT a football school and him hanging up on them.
