Nope, he was from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. All those Rankin Bass stop motion specials were great (special props to AB for mentioning the Meisterburgermeister)! However, "The Year Without a Santa Claus" was the best one of them all. Heat Miser and Snow Miser completely stole the show there. I mean who can forget "Mr. Green Christmas" and "Mr. White Christmas"? Classic
