EZ Tag and new Texas plates

    Hey Guys,

    Quick Question. I got new plates this past Thursday morning for one of our cars. I tried Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and just now and it still says the plate number can't be found. How long does it take before I can register them with HCTRA? I take the tollway daily.

    You should still be able to order the tag. I had the same issue come up when I purchased a new vehicle. However I did have to activate by calling their support line as it still couldn't find my plate. I've been getting charged accurately though

    I think I had my new plates over a week before the plate number could be found. That was four months ago.
