    lol. I've been getting a chuckle out of this story ever since I started following it - especially the parts about China, Iran, and African countries voicing their opinions on this.

    While we're at it, why don't we allow the gas reserves in the Middle East to be controlled by a "coalition of governments." Gas is "essential to countries' basic infrastructure."

    I love how their defense of the statement of the internet's essentialness to basic infrastructure is that Brazil uses it to collect 90% of its taxes. I'm sure you can come up with a better example from one of the Wester powers, China, or Japan...
