[ESPN-OTL] The Disposable Superstar (Billups)

Chauncey Billups is the man; one of my favorite NBA players.

 

Man, so many people here were calling him over the hill just a year ago. It's cool how much success he's had back in his home town. Even though he's been on two teams that I didn't care too much for (do all his teams lead the league in technicals?), I still find it hard to dislike him individually.

Chauncey was/is probably the best point guard in the NBA. Not only that, he was the glue of the Detroit Piston.

 

Awesome story. Anytime Tom Friend has the byline, the story's almost a certainty to be money.

Billups has always been money.

I can't believe how so many teams have deemed him expendable.

 

7 straight conference finals. Pretty impressive.

 

He really can't talk well, but otherwise hes a decent stud.
