at the end of the 2nd OT the pistons were up 2 and the nuggets had the ball and they stupidly fouled a guy just trying to make a pass (not a purpose foul but still really stupid), and both the announcers tried to pass it off as a good thing because now "the pistons would have 17 seconds to win it or go to the next OT". uhh, why not just play defense and try to get the ball back up 2 with a win almost assured instead of giving them 2 free throws to tie the game?

and it seems like announcers back in the day were always saying clueless stuff like this when you watch espn classic, no matter the sport. anyway, always been a pet peeve of mine seeing old time announcers screwing things up like this. say what you will about today's announcers but they don't say stuff like that.

The best part of that game was that there were only four three point attempts....by both teams combined.
