This may be common knowledge to some of you, but I was unaware of it and I like to see players give back to the programs that helped them along the way.

yeah, there needs to be more publicity for these things, and less for iverson's diminishing jail time.

i think fans should hear about every donation given by a player to a charity or organization.

the ONLY thing i like about mark cuban is that he matches (or doubles, i forget) each fine he receives and makes donations to charities (w/o cursing).

It's nice to hear that Eddie is giving back to the community. He is a real nice guy. His problems in college are definetly in the past. I think that his brother died before that whole punching incident, so he might have been just all out of sorts because of that. I met him last year in New Jersey, at the Rockets-Nets game, and had a nice little conversation with him. He seemed kind of shy, but very nice and polite.

On top of that, I don't even think the punching incident was such the "problem child" thing some people made it out to be, and I thought that long before the Rocks were fortunate enough to nab him last year. I played a lot of ball once upon a time, and teamates do get in little scrapes, especially the competitive ones.

yeah like last week, this 9 year old girl kept hogging the ball and laughing at me every time i fell for her head fakes.
if she was 12, i'd punch her in the head.
