Yeah awhile ago when somebody posted the "NBA will get their dream matchup" of Shaq vs. Yao. It seemed like a rather low chance occurance. But dude now it seems highly possible, even probable. Sadly we have no chance of beating them. But it would make for a great series. Hopefully it can be a coming out party for the Rockets and Yao. You know like the year the Bulls lost to the Celtics 4-2, but Jordan scored 63 one game and everyone knew that the bulls were going to be a force. Or how AI gained prominence his first season in the playoffs. I came away thinking... whoa... that guy is gonna be the man. Hey maybe he can be the man on this team.
its funny how you know that its a given that its a certainty no shred of doubt that if we played the lakers they would get so many more calls then us. damn but i am happy either way that at least there in the playoffs now.
I'll be happy whoever we play. I'm just happy to be in the playoffs. The Lakers would be intense. Never say never, but we've yet to beat them when their big four are healthy. If that's the matchup we're gonna regret letting Oakley go. We're pretty light on big guys that can play Shaq and Malone.
Then if this is the senario the Rockets should make a major protest about the Refs 'No Calls', just before the Playoffs begin. It should be about three days prior so that the info can reach all of the Refs in time.
