    Maybe you should rephrase it.

    I voted "NO" because I'm not a Muslim and couldn't care less about a church, temple, mosque, etc. being built anywhere.

    Maybe it should be :

    1. legally bar?
    2. allow

    A lot of people "against" it just think it's a bad idea but are also against legal action to prevent the construction.

    can't vote. south street seaport is in lower manhattan- a mosque would be fine there. where the proposed Dome of the Landing Gear would sited however, i can't support.

    I don't care, really.

    But I do think maintaining freedom of religion is a more important concern than any of the other garbage being spewed about.

    I voted no. I'm against all the money being thrown at new churches/mosques/temples. They are a waste of space... much like golf courses.

    But, I would defend their right to build. I wouldn't attempt to legally bar it, just because some muslims kill cartoonists.
