Direct TV channel in Dallas

    I have just moved to Dallas and I needed some help finding the Rockets on Direct TV. It would be greatly appriciated if some of the Dallas residents could tell me the channel of knws (tv51) on Direct TV. Thank you

    You will need to purchase NBA League Pass to view the Rockets game. I am not sure if the games will be shown as channel 51. :rolleyes: :mad:

    I assume you are referring to having NBA league Pass to watch the Rockets. But (unless Dallas is vastly different from Austin) you will not specifically get KNWS/51 over DirecTV. On DTV, NBA TV is ch 601 and the LPass games are from ch 721 thru 732.

    However, don't expect to hear or see Bill and Calvin too frequently on NBALP as there are some broadcasting legal issues (I think ch 51 is indie or Univision) so you will get the Rockets' opponents announcers far more often. :(
