Did Toronto REALLY offer Hakeem more money?

    I know the numbers say that Toronto's offer is more than the Rockets'but...

    1)Texas doesn't have a state income tax - will Hakeem have to pay something like that in Toronto?

    2)Doesn't Canada have some type of luxury tax against the NBA players there.

    3)If BOTH OR EITHER one of these are true - how much more will Hakeem actually take home versus the Rockets' offer?!?:confused:
