    Regardless of the Harden situation.

Despite the 'Chris Paul knee' excuse, we were beating Golden State in Houston Game 7 then coaching happened.
Pringles never called time out or even tried to switch up the jack up as many 3s as possible strategy when we had a lead.

Exposed for not being a great motivator. Losing again to Golden State without Durant at home.

Lakers exposed full small ball and lack of defensive adjustments (some cheerleaders here obviously ignored this). Lakers adjusted their game and we did not.

Now, he DID NOT get a new coaching job except being an assistant to Steve Nash.
    That's pretty bad.

Every year, there's a NBA champion, and none of them have the D'Antoni system.
That goes way back to his Phoenix days too.

It’s great. He wasn’t good and he’s manipulative. He’s tampering now though and the organization should get the league office to investigate it.

I think Mike had run his course with our team, but I don't think he was a bad coach.

He had glaring flaws that caused us to fall apart every post season, but we could have had been stuck with a much more shittier coach (McHale).

This is definitely a "grass is greener" thing. Let's hope Silas can prove to be at least AS good as Mike before we start celebrating.

I enjoy watching his teams for the novelty of it, but it was getting really old really fast. I do think he can win a championship under the right circumstances, but it was pretty clear that wasn't going to happen in Houston.

I won't forget his strategy for game 7, jack up as many 3s as possible regardless if you have a lead

and completely forgetting that Golden State has better 3 point shooters.

MDA leaving was a domino effect.

    Morey then left.

    Westbrook forces a trade.

Now Harden is playing hardball because he trusts no one in the Rockets organization.

This has nothing to do with Stone or Silas.

D'Antoni leaving was BAD for the Rockets because it ENDED Rockets best chance for a championship.

I just hope it does not cost us James Harden too.

Anyone who believes it was good is deluding themselves, I have not seen this much chaos, confusion and gnashing of teeth on CF/local media/national media in a long long long time.

It was so headscratching for people from Europe used to far more tactical game than NBA. He basicaly was there but he wasnt. Not calling timeouts, no rotations, no sets, no ****ing thing

Losing to the Warriros without our second best player is not an "excuse." This thread is ridiculous.

Morey found out after dinner on the plane and was upset. And they made the doc hire BEFORE Morey was going to be their Gm.
