I need to know where I can create a will. Is it better to do it with a lawyer or can I purchase some software and do it? I am going to BRAZIL with my wife and we need to get this done before we leave.

going to sound extremely self-serving. but hire a lawyer to do this. one size does not fit all when it comes to writing a will. i've seen first-hand the probate judges throw the cookie-cutter wills out of court.

Mine is on a dirty napkin, it's notarized though, does it count?
