Ok guys, Who can help ???? I am trying to repair a corrupted word doc. Word 2000 ( size 462 KB ) I try and open and it get this. ( a table in this document has become corrupted. to recover the contents of the table select the table and choose convert table to text from the table menu ) funny thing is I’m not aware of a table in the doc. After I click ok, It pulls up about half the doc and says ( word for windows and encountered a problem and need to close. We are sorry bla, bla, bla…… ) Then I click send don’t send error report and Word completely shuts down ????? Any ideas ??? Thanks in advance.
Sorry, but I can't offer too much advise. You may try looking in your /temp directory for a copy of the doc (it would have not necessarily have the same filename)...who knows, it may not be corrupted. If that doesn't work, have a beer or 3, it won't seem so important then.
