Any recommendations for good family lodging? I've heard good (and read some bad) things about Port Royal.

How about restaurants? Any good/can't miss ones?

    Thanks!

Port Royal isn't bad. I've stayed there the past 2 Memorial Days. You get what you pay for with the rooms. They're clean on the inside. Naturally, the patios are typically covered in bird s***. The restaurant has good food but the service is typically lacking. The breakfast buffet is pretty good. The pool is great, as is typically the scenery. I would definitely stay there again.

I'd say there is no "can't miss" restaurant in Port A. I've never been that impressed with any of them.

I recommend Port Royal for the pool alone. Never really found any great restaurants in the immediate area, however.
