Carwash- They advertise all the packages and basically do the same thing everytime. I pay between 16 and 30 bucks sometimes to get my car washed, yet they seem to get upset when I request that my rims be smudge free and to clean areas that they have obviously missed. I don't have the time to wash the car at home all the time, so I am forced in many cases to pay for this freaking ripoff.
Damn that's expensive. I never get the full interior exterior anymore. They usually end up busting stuff inside the car...ash tray lids, equalizer settings...I just do the interior myself. $9.00 for exterior and Armor All the tires. Then I get home and break out the bottle of "Meguiar's spray and mist" and finish the detailing myself.
I always use a coupon to pay $6.99 at the car wash, but I always have to finish the job after I get home.
$30 car wash? Is it one of those car wash place where girls pour soup water over their see through shirts?
What kind of soup are we talking about here? Clear broth or something chunky? Is it hot soup or cold soup like gazepacho?
Biggest scam industries: Banks. Insurance companies. Auto mechanics. The medical industry and credit industry will probably be added to that list soon. -- droxford
You can't - but that's part of the scam. You can't go through life without any of the above, and they know it, so they scam you. (technically, you probably could, but you'd have to separate yourself from society and become a survivalist ) -- droxford
who do you bank with? how do they scam you? there are few things in the world more regulated than banks.
If you have money, banks treat you like god. If you are poor, they do all sorts of things to you, especially the big banks. They will charge this and that service fees for not keeping enough in the bank and using their ATM, etc.
