    Should the rockets play conservative in this offseason or play ballsy by offering the moon and stars for a top 4 pick?

    Conservatism would involve not using the trade exception hoping for a food FA in 2001, and keeping our draft picks.

    I have never been one to follow where the wind blows. If there is a player you want you have to move to get him and not hope other teams pass him by.

    The trade exception is a valuable tool. Why take the chance on a getting a superstar in 2001, when you can use the exception and still have around 8 mill under the cap in 2001. It may be possible to trade rogers for a 2nd rd pick to free up some cap space.

    I would offer the #9, detroit pick, orlando pick to see how far this would move the rockets.

    I would gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.

    I think they sack up and make a big deal either for a draft pick, or current PF. The frontcourt is in la la land right now, with no signs of a future.

    Is it a big ole WHOPPER or just a crummy regular ole hamburger. Cause if it is a whopper, Ill take one today too. But if it is just a crummy ole hamburger, I'd rather wait till tomorrow until I can ensure myself of a WHOPPER, and maybe some fries too.

    IMHO, this year
    WHOPPER=Stromile Swift or Kenyon Martin
    hamburger=everybody else

    Unless moving up ensures you of either SS or KM, no point in moving up. Myswell stay at nine and hope fro either Miller, Miles or Moiso-one of them should still be there.
