Computer Question: Hard Drive

    I put a new hard drive in my laptop awhile back. It had been used before, so I formatted it first using the Windows partition utility. But now, after installing the OS, the hard drive shows up in the "Remove Hardware" dialogue. Granted, it won't actually allow you to remove it, since it's always in use. But is there a way to get Windows not offer to remove it?
