    If Utah had such an easy time with our 'defense', how good are the Mavs going to be? :/ . I hope we win. But if we play like we did the first game, we are doomed.

    I'm pretty sure the lack of effort and early foul trouble won't be repeated in this game. Should be a close one, though. JVG needs to watch out for the high switch/iso play that Avery likes to run with Terry and Howard. The Spurs got burned by it several times last night. They might have to play a little bit of zone defense (that seemed to be somewhat effective on Wednesday night in the 4th quarter) -- but if Nowitzki and Howard have a hot shooting hand, it will only lead to trouble.

    This game should be very entertaining. Looking forward to watching Battier match up against Nowtizki defensively. There's a high probability that we will see Bonzi in action -- would love to see him get in there and abuse the Dallas guards down low.

    Josh Howard gets 20 pts, 5 assists, 6 steals, 2 blocks and 2 three pointers.


    Rockets win 101-100.


    I need Howard to be that good so that I can continue my fantasy streak.

    I think the Rockets lose this game. When is the last time we beat Dallas?

    I guess we can hope for some early season slop from Dallas and take advantage of that in addition to wanting to play better basketball after that horrible game in Utah. I still don't think it will be enough, though.

    I hope that I am wrong. I think we have a better chance later in the season once we develop some cohesiveness.
